About K9 Advantix II:
K9 Advantix® II (imidacloprid + permethrin + pyriproxyfen) is a convenient, once-a-month flea, tick, and mosquito control for dogs and puppies seven weeks of age and older. K9 Advantix II now has the added benefit of the insect growth regulator, pyriproxyfen, Which inhibits the developement of flea eggs. Pyriproxyfen also offers additional larvicdal properties. K9 Advantix II stops biting fleas within three to five minutes and repels and kills ticks and mosquitoes. Imidacloprid, one of the active ingredients in K9 Advantix II, also kills 98 - 100 percent of fleas within 12 hours.
Does your dog love the water? No problem! K9 Advantix II remains effective after swimming or bathing. Studies show that after repeated swimming, K9 Advantix II still kills 97.9 -100 percent of ticks and 92.5 -100 percent of fleas. After bathing, K9 Advantix II kills 97.4 -100 percent of ticks and fleas.
